The Unlikely Friendship

Deep in a forest so wide you can't see the end of it, creatures live very busy, very silly lives. Mushrooms glow. Badgers build rafts. A mole conducts an orchestra of crickets. And if you look closely, some things in this forest are not quite what you'd expect.

The Cat With the Axe

BANG. Hootie's coffee shivers. BANG. Dust falls on his rug. At the bottom of his tree is a cat with an axe and the happiest grin he has ever seen.

Tabitha needs one perfect tree to build one perfect cabinet. But trees in this forest aren't anyone's to take. So the owl who never leaves home has to leave home, to find the Guardian of the Forest and ask.
